Hi Camp Jenny!

This is Josh and Riley reporting to you from Atlanta, Georgia. Last Friday, we visited F.L. Stanton Elementary School to announce the theme for this year’s Camp Jenny. When we arrived at the school, we were ecstatic to be reunited with our campers! We made an appearance at the school’s morning assembly to greet everyone and reveal the theme. And now… the 7-month wait until the buses are back on Camp Jenny grounds.

We are incredibly excited to share this experience with all of you. We have both been volunteers at Camp Jenny since 9th grade (Staff-in-training year), and can’t wait to pour our hearts into something so meaningful to us. The theme–Lights, Camera, Camp Jenny–was chosen because we want to emulate the passion, innovation, and courage that so many are able to discover within themselves while at camp. Through our theme's values below, we want to encourage our campers to let their creative sides shine, make new connections, and acquire a greater sense of vulnerability.
1. Using passion to fuel innovation
The movie industry is all about fervor and bold creativity. At this year’s Camp Jenny, we want
our campers to channel that same spirit. To embrace what they love and use that enthusiasm to do something extraordinary. Whether it’s through cooking or science, everyone can be their own superstar. Our goal is to foster that realization while at camp.
2. Learning how to express yourself unapologetically
Without expression, there would be no Hollywood! Camp Jenny is a place where this shines, and it doesn’t only take place at Arts & Crafts. Every song sung at Closing Circle, every s’more shared around the campfire, and every card game played in the cabin helps each camper to grow into themselves just a little more. We want our campers to embrace who they are, speak up for what they believe in, and let their personalities take center stage.
3. Stepping out of your comfort zone
Every audition comes with a bit of risk-taking. Actors never know what the turnout will be, but they show up anyway. Over the weekend, we hope that our campers find the courage to do the same. From making friends to trying something new, campers can discover a world of capabilities when given the opportunity.

The tagline “If you can dream it, you can be it” captures the spirit of what makes camp as special as it is. It promotes the idea that our campers can be who they want to be and achieve even their wildest of dreams. Today is just the beginning of who they can become!
Applications are open, and are due on December 12th, 2025. Make sure to apply so we can build the best crew in all of Hollywood!
We can’t wait to hear from you!
Riley & Josh
