Status Update: Welcoming the Crew!

The year-round team has been buzzing with energy as the vision for Camp Jenny 2026 officially comes to life. Over the last few weeks, we have reached a major milestone: finalizing our staff leadership and position placements. We are so excited to welcome all of our new staff members to the team for Lights, Camera, Camp Jenny! We were blown away by the time, detail, and effort that was put into all applications. It is invigorating to see the same enthusiasm we have for Camp Jenny’s mission reflected in all of you. As we shift from planning to preparing, we want to share a look at our two main areas of focus for the coming months. Here is how we are building the foundation for another successful weekend:

Building a Connected Community: One of the most important foundations of a strong, successful Camp Jenny weekend is consistent communication. Staying in touch with Unit/Specialty Heads and mentors ensures that everyone feels supported, prepared, and connected long before we arrive at camp. To support this, we have created a Whatsapp community for teams to communicate, ask questions, and share

ideas! Group morale plays a huge role in the success of CJ weekend, and we can help foster that by forming bonds with members of our community before we are at camp.

Fundraising: Fundraising is a vital part of making Camp Jenny possible, and every one of you plays a crucial role in this effort. Each year, we strive to raise $75,000 to create a completely cost-free camp experience for our over one hundred campers. This can only be accomplished if we are all in! In the coming weeks, you will hear more about how to raise money for Camp Jenny 2026 on Classy. Please keep watch for how you can help support our staff and campers as we work together to bring the movie magic to life.
